The Social Media Explosion!

Some of you may have noticed that I have created an additional Facebook, Twitter and Blog pages.  Thank you to those who have liked, connected with and supported these pages in the past couple weeks.

I wanted to provide a heads up... seeing as though it may seem strange to some that I have just come out and created my own consulting business without saying anything to anyone.

As some of you may know, I am taking a Social Media Marketing class this summer as part of my Associates - soon to be Bachelors Degree program - through Dakota County Technical College.  We have been asked to create social media pages, blogs, searches, etc as a way to become familiar with all the various tools and resources out there.  Currently, I have 2 Facebook pages, 1 Facebook fan page, 2 Twitter Accounts, 2 blogs, created Tumblr, Delicious and Flicker accounts, partially optimized my LinkedIn profile, hooked up with Hoot Suite, created an Instagram Account, added an event board to my personal Pintrest page, and updated my Feedly feeder to follow additional blogs (let me know if you have any that I should add!).  I've included links to all of these accounts below.  Please feel free to add, connect, tweet, share and like any and all of them.  Please keep in mind that these are all a work in progress and are all being worked on as time allows/aspects are assigned.

Although, I am currently not actively building my own consultation business, I do hope to one day offer these services to those looking for event planning assistance.
